Gary McGurgan

Gary McGurgan has extensive work experience in the engineering and manufacturing industry. Gary is currently working as the General Manager at Mattershift since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Senior Vice President at Prometheus Fuels starting from October 2019. From May 2018 to October 2019, Gary served as a Program Manager at Donaldson.

Before joining Donaldson, Gary worked at GE serving as the North American Filters & Membranes Engineering Leader. During their tenure from 2012 to 2018, they led engineering activities at manufacturing facilities in Minnetonka MN and Vista CA. Gary also developed the capital strategies and directed engineering activities to support day-to-day operations.

Gary also served as the Vice President of Membrane Development/Senior Director of Engineering at Oasys Water from 2009 to July 2012. Prior to that, they held various roles at Dow Chemical, including Technology Specialist FilmTec, Brackish Water Platform Leader FilmTec, Production Leader FilmTec, and Senior Production Engineer FilmTec. In these roles, they were responsible for manufacturing, process control, production improvement, and supervision of engineering and operations staff. Gary also played a key role in new membrane line startups and implemented quality improvement measures.

Gary McGurgan attended Youngstown State University from 1986 to 1988. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
