Rainey C. Smith

Rainey Smith joined PDA in 2017 as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. She has nearly 20 years of experience working in accounting and finance across a variety of areas, including public accounting, private equity, business advisory services and high-growth service companies.

Before PDA, Rainey worked for one of the largest private equity investment firms in the world managing public equity funds as well as their inaugural debt investment and credit strategy funds, which invested in a broad range of industries including consumer/retail, media and telecommunications, technology, travel/leisure and health care.

Most recently, Rainey was the Corporate Controller for Unified Care Group in Fort Worth, Texas. Prior to that, she served in leadership positions for several Fort Worth-area accounting and fund management firms.

Rainey holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and Accounting from Texas Tech University.
