Brendan Zhang

Brendan Zhang is a Senior Scientist at Quantitative BioSciences, Inc., specializing in the development of custom bio-sensors for analyte detection since November 2023. Previously, as a Scientist III at Thermo Fisher Scientific, responsibilities included the conjugation and purification of IgG conjugates, alongside mass spectrometry characterization. Brendan's experience also includes roles as a Scientist at Diazyme Laboratories, an Associate Scientist at CTK Biotech, and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California San Diego, where research focused on peptide/fluorophore conjugates for imaging protease activity in pathogens. Additionally, Brendan contributed to cancer immunotherapy discovery using phage display at Akeagen and performed bioluminescent protein research during graduate studies at UC Irvine. Brendan holds a PhD in Chemistry from UC Irvine and a BA in Chemistry from Willamette University.
