Robert Looney

Sr. Director, Global Technical Customer Success at Rapid7

Robert Looney has extensive work experience in customer success management and account management roles. Robert started their career at Summit Technical Services as a Branch Manager from February 1995 to February 2000. Robert then worked at Fidelity Investments (Veritude) as a Senior Staffing Specialist from February 2000 to November 2001. Robert was later promoted to the role of Business Development Manager from November 2001 to October 2003 and then became a Site Manager from October 2003 to June 2004.

Looney continued their career at Fidelity Investments as a Senior Account Manager from June 2004 to February 2009. Robert then joined athenahealth as an Account Manager from May 2009 to May 2010, followed by a role as a Senior Account Management from May 2010 to February 2013. Looney then became a Director of Customer Success Management in the Physician Practice Segment from February 2013 to September 2015. Robert was later promoted to the role of Director of Customer Success Management in the Hospital Segment from September 2015 to August 2019.

Currently, Looney is working at Rapid7 as a Director of Customer Success Management since September 2019. Robert was recently promoted to the role of Sr. Director of Technical Customer Success in January 2022.

Robert Looney attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.
