Katie Bend

Katie Bend has a diverse work experience in marketing and communications. Katie is currently the Head of Marketing and Communications at Recognise Bank. Prior to this, they worked at what3words as a Senior Marketing Manager, where they focused on international multi-channel marketing and strategized plans for increased app usage. Katie also worked at OVO as a Senior Brand Marketing Manager, where they specialized in media planning and brand campaigns. Before that, they held roles at Starling Bank and DHX Media, where they gained experience in various marketing roles and worked internationally. Katie also has experience in digital marketing at British Gas and Centrica. Overall, Katie Bend has a strong background in marketing and has made impactful contributions in their various roles.

Katie Bend has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Bristol, which they completed from 2011 to 2014. Katie also obtained a Professional Diploma in Direct and Digital Marketing with Distinction from The Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing in the year 2018. In addition, they attended a Copywriting Masterclass at The Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing in 2017. Prior to their university education, they completed their A levels in History, Politics, and Fine Art, along with an AS Level in English at Kings High School, Warwick. Katie also achieved excellent grades in their GCSE examinations.
