Vikas Kumar

Vikas Kumar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Vikas started their career as an Intern at Tulip Telecom, where they were responsible for implementing IP/MPLS network solutions. Vikas then joined Nokia Solutions & Networks as a Network Planning and Optimization Engineer, where they conducted audits and optimized network performance.

In 2010, Vikas volunteered at Rang De, building awareness and conducting fundraising events. Vikas then joined ICICI Bank as a Chief Manager in Commercial Banking, managing a portfolio of corporate clients and focusing on revenue generation.

Vikas later moved to YES BANK as an AVP, where they handled deal origination, structured financial solutions, and managed a portfolio of MNCs and startups. Vikas also cross-sold various banking products to maximize ROI.

Currently, Vikas works at ICICI Bank as the Regional Head of Sales for Transaction and Startup Banking. In this role, they manage a team and is responsible for deal origination, building relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth.

Vikas Kumar completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance and Banking from NIIT University in the years 2013-2015. Prior to that, they obtained a B.Tech degree in Electronics & Communication from Punjab Technical University in the years 2005-2009.
