Jae Jun is the VP of Talent at Redpanda Data. Jae has over 15 years of experience in staffing and recruiting, marketing communications, and product marketing.
Jun started their career as a regional marketing manager for Varian Associates - Thin Films Systems. Jae then transitioned into the staffing and recruiting industry, working as a staffing manager/leadership recruiter for YouTube Engineering at Google. Jae later became a senior engineering recruiter and then a senior director of marketing communications at Lam Research.
In their current role as VP of Talent at Redpanda Data, Jun is responsible for leading and building the global talent team. Redpanda Data is a modern streaming data platform that is Kafka API-compatible, source-available, blazingly fast, reliable, and easy to use.
Jae Jun has a BS in Business Administration from San Jose State University, with a concentration in International Business, and double minors in Japanese Language & Asian Studies. Jae Jun also spent a year in Japan through the Waseda University Year in Japan Program.
