Emily Edris MA, PHR has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Emily is currently working at RES as a Manager, Talent Development, where they are responsible for building training and development programs to support the organization's strategic goals and fostering a strong organizational culture. Prior to this, Emily worked at PowerSchool as a Manager, Talent Operations, leading a team in global people operations and managing the total rewards program. Emily also served as a Talent Project Manager, overseeing the implementation of enterprise-wide projects and leading merger and acquisition efforts for Human Resources. Emily's previous experience includes managing the Forensics and Debate program at CSU, San Bernardino, teaching and coaching various subjects, and working as a Teaching Consultant and Graduate Researcher at the UC Davis Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning. Emily also worked at the United States Department of Defense as a Business Process Analyst, executing continuous process improvement projects and presenting findings to stakeholders. Additionally, Emily has experience as a PowerSave Green Campus Team Manager and Project Coordinator at the Alliance to Save Energy and as a Juvenile Justice Unit Coordinator at the Placer County Peer Court. Emily began their career as an intern at the Law Office of John C. Taylor. Throughout their career, Emily has consistently used data and business intelligence to drive and measure performance, and they have demonstrated strong leadership and project management skills.

Emily Edris MA, PHR completed their education in a chronological order. Emily began at Sierra College from 2007 to 2009, earning an AS in Communication Studies and an AA in Liberal Arts. Emily then transferred to California State University-San Bernardino, where they obtained a BA in Communication Studies from 2009 to 2011. Following that, they pursued an MA in Communication Studies from 2011 to 2013 at the same university. Their education continued at the University of California, Davis, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Communication from 2013 to 2015. In addition to their academic achievements, Emily also obtained a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute in April 2019.
