Brett Grau

Brett Grau has over 10 years of work experience in the design field. In 2009, they began their career as a Freelance Graphic Designer at The Finer Details. Brett then had a Web Design Internship at Nylon Magazine. In 2010, they worked as a Freelance Graphic and Web Designer at Cookteen.com. In 2011, they were a Design Intern at Flightpath, a Freelance Web Designer at Sarah Jane Wilson, and a UI Design Intern at Moodlerooms, Inc. In 2012, they were an Interactive Designer and Senior Interactive Designer at Flightpath. From 2015-2017, they were a Senior UX Designer at Newsela. From 2017-2020, they were a Senior Designer and Director of Design at Originate. Currently, they are the Director of Design and Product Design Manager at Resilia.

Brett Grau attended the Maryland Institute College of Art from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Interaction Design and Art. In 2011, they also attended Temple University, but did not receive a degree. No additional certifications have been reported.
