Laura Taylor

Laura Taylor began their career as a legal assistant at Bridge McFarland Solicitors in 2005. Laura then worked as a trainee solicitor at Brabners Chaffe Street from 2007 to 2009, followed by a role as an employment solicitor at Andersons Solicitors from 2009 to 2011.

From 2011 to 2013, Laura worked as an employment law solicitor at Shakespeares, and then as a human resources specialist at Alliance Boots from 2013 to 2014. Laura also worked as an employment law consultant at Encompass Consultancy from 2013 to 2014.

In 2014, Laura held the position of Human Resources and Compliance Manager at Octavian, followed by a role as HR Operations Manager at East Midlands Trains from 2014 to 2015.

From 2015 to 2017, Laura worked as an HR Business Partner at Browne Jacobson, where they provided resource and planning support, advised on complex people issues, and collaborated with senior equity partners on organizational design and change initiatives.

Laura's most recent position is Human Resources Director at The Road Haulage Association, where they have been working since 2017.

Laura Taylor completed their LLB degree in Law at the University of Liverpool from 2002 to 2005. Laura then pursued a LPC degree in Law at Chester College of Law from 2005 to 2006. In 2011, Laura Taylor became a Qualified Mediator in interpersonal/workplace disputes through their training at UK Mediation. In 2016, they completed a Professional Experience Assessment at CIPD, focusing on CIPD specifically.
