Christina Rode

Postdoctoral Stem Cell Scientist at Roslin Technologies

Christina Rode started their work experience in 2007 with an internship in IVF and pre-natal laboratory at the University of Bonn. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Oxford, where they gained experience in microinjection and ES cell culture. In 2012, they became a DPhil candidate at the University of Oxford, focusing on early mammalian development and advanced imaging techniques. Christina completed their DPhil in 2016 and continued as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oxford, specializing in developmental hematopoiesis. In 2015, they worked as a Scientific Illustrator/Artist for Bang! Science Magazine, and from 2013 to 2015, they served as the Pint of Science Oxford lead organizer, overseeing event teams and recruitment. In 2022, they joined Roslin Technologies as a Postdoctoral Stem Cell Scientist.

Christina Rode obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Human Genetics from the University of Nottingham between 2005 to 2008. Christina then pursued further studies and completed a Master's Degree in Developmental Biology from the same institution, spanning from 2008 to 2009. Christina Rode continued their academic journey by enrolling at the University of Oxford, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Developmental Biology and Embryology, completing their studies from 2012 to 2016.
