Agnibina Mitra

Agnibina Mitra's work experience starts with their current role as an Environmental Health Safety Specialist at Samuel, Son & Co. in 2021, where they prioritize safety in an aluminum manufacturing company. Before that, they worked as a Solutions Specialist at National Grid from January 2021 to November 2021. In 2020, they were an Emergency Department Associate at Penn State Health from September to December. From 2015 to 2020, they served as a Disaster Action Team Member at the American Red Cross. They also had various internships and positions as a Graduate Assistant at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, a Planning Intern at Upper Allen Township, and an Intern at Capital RC&D, all in 2019. Agnibina Mitra pursued their education in various fields over the years. Agnibina obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Geoenvironmental studies from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2012, they attended Tata Institute of Social Sciences and completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Disaster Management. In their undergraduate years, from 2005 to 2009, Agnibina studied Biotechnology at GM Institute of Technology, earning a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree. During their high school years from 2003 to 2005, they attended Surendranath Centenary School, where they focused on Physical Sciences. Agnibina Mitra completed their high school education at Sacred Heart Convent School from 1992 to 2003.

In addition to their academic achievements, Agnibina has also obtained several certifications. Agnibina completed a Lockout Tagout certification course at the National OSHA Foundation in March 2023. In August 2022, they obtained First Aid and CPR certification from Occupational Safety Training Systems. Agnibina Mitra also holds an OSHA 30 Hour General Industry Outreach certification from 360training, earned in August 2021.
