Chip Monaco

Chip Monaco has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Chip is currently serving as the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) at Santa Margarita Water District since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Regional VP at CR&R Incorporated starting from January 2021. From December 2018 to January 2022, they served as a City Council Member for the City of Orange. Chip also has experience in Waste Management, where they held the position of Regional Government Affairs Manager for Waste Management of Southern California from August 2014 to 2021. Chip has also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Brandman University - Chapman University System, teaching in the Masters in Public Administration, Political Science & Organizational Leadership program from January 2014 to December 2018. In addition, they served as a Board Member for Anaheim Public Utilities, City of Anaheim, from July 2013 to July 2015. Before that, Chip worked at County of Orange/ OC Waste & Recycling, where they held various positions such as Deputy Director, Government & Community Relations, Chief of Staff, Manager of Public Affairs & Management Services, Public Communications Manager, and also handled the Inaugural Electronic Elections - Concurrent Special Assignment.

Chip Monaco completed their Master's Degree in Public Administration at Brandman University from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, the details of their Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Chapman University are unknown. Chip also attended Orange High School, but no specific degree or field of study is specified for that period.
