Bill Conley

Bill Conley has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Bill is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Sarpy County since April 2019. Prior to this, Bill worked as an Arbitrator at FINRA starting from December 2017. Bill also served as the Director of Finance & Infrastructure at NorthStar Foundation from March 2018 to March 2019.

Bill's previous experience includes roles such as Vice Chancellor for Business & Finance and Adjunct Faculty at the University of Nebraska at Omaha from May 2008 to December 2017. Bill was the Vice President at Omaha World-Herald Company from January 2002 to August 2007. Prior to that, they were the President at World Investments, Inc. from May 1994 to August 2007.

Before their career in the media industry, Bill held various positions at Omaha World-Herald Company from February 1990 to October 1994, including Executive Assistant in the Office of the President and Accounting Manager. Bill started their career as an Audit Manager/Staff at Deloitte & Touche in May 1984 and worked there until February 1990, providing accounting and auditing services to clients in multiple industries.

Bill Conley attended Westside High School from 1977 to 1980. Bill then went on to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 1980 to 1984, where they earned their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus in Accounting. Later on, from 1988 to 1992, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a specialization in Business.
