Alicia Dubisky

Alicia Dubisky has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Alicia currently works at Savvas Learning Company as an Adoptions Specialist & Contracts Manager for State-Level Instructional Materials Adoptions. Prior to this, they worked at Michigan Virtual University as an English & German Language Teacher for secondary students. Alicia also worked as a Medical Office Receptionist at Dr. Merola's Office on a temporary basis. Alicia served as a Program Director at ASC English and Education Procurement Coordinator at Lexia Learning. Alicia has a background in retail as a Sales Associate and Cashier at Payless. Alicia has also worked as an English and German Teacher at VHS Learning and an Adult Basic Education (HiSET) Teacher at Pathways, Inc. In addition, Alicia has experience as a Licensure Officer at Boston University School of Education and as a Substitute Tutor volunteer at Washtenaw Literacy.

Alicia Dubisky has a comprehensive education background. Alicia obtained their Bachelor's degree in English and German (with a minor in general music) from Western Michigan University from 1998 to 2002. Prior to that, they received a diploma in college prep from Franklin High School from 1994 to 1998.

Alicia then pursued further education and completed a Master's degree in English Studies for Teachers from Eastern Michigan University, spanning from 2007 to 2015. Alicia also briefly attended Ball State University in 2005.

Recently, Alicia attended the American College of Education, where they received a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Curriculum and Instruction from 2019 to 2020.
