Jen Nelson

VP, Customer Operations at scaleMatters

Jen Nelson has a long and varied work experience. Jen started their career in 2002 as a Development Assistant at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. In 2004, they moved to The Center For Family Services as a SOC Service Coordinator, Community Rehabilitative Specialist. In 2006, they joined Greater Chicago Food Depository as an Agency Relations Representative and was promoted to Manager of Agency Relations in the same year. In 2010, they became Business Manager, Chicago Heights Community Health at Aunt Martha's Youth Service Center. In 2011, they started at Phreesia as an Implementation Consultant and was promoted to Enterprise Project Manager and then Senior Director, Client Services. In 2018, they joined Blueboard Inc. as Head of Revenue Operations and Head of Implementation and Support. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed VP, Customer Operations at scaleMatters.

Jen Nelson holds a BA in Social Work and Leadership from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale and a Master in Social Work and Community and Executive Practice from the University of Illinois Chicago. Jen also holds two certifications: Recognition Professional Level 1 from Recognition Professionals International - RPI obtained in June 2019, and PMP - Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute.
