Nick Edwards, PhD

Director of Strategic Accounts and Business Development at Science Exchange

Nick Edwards, PhD has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2007 when they were an Operations Consultant at GreatCall. After that, they worked as a PhD Student at the National Institutes of Health from 2011 to 2016. Nick then moved on to become a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, they became a Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). In 2019, they took on the role of Channel Strategy and Insights at Illumina. In 2020, they became the Director and Chief of Staff to the Chief Scientific Officer at Resilience and also created, produced, and hosted the Once a Scientist podcast. In 2021, they became a Venture Partner at Alloy Therapeutics, Inc. and in 2022, they took on the role of Investor at Kaleida Capital. Nick is currently the Director of Strategic Accounts and Business Development at Science Exchange.

Nick Edwards, PhD, received their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Neuroscience major and English minor from Brigham Young University in 2011. Nick then went on to pursue a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Brown University, which they completed in 2016.
