Philipp Bowald

Philipp Bowald is a seasoned goalkeeper coach with extensive experience in various organizations, currently serving as the Goalkeepercoach at FC Winterthur since June 2024. Additionally, Philipp has been involved in goalkeeper coaching education for the Schweizerischer Fussballverband SFV since July 2014 on a mandate basis. Prior roles include coaching U19 goalkeepers at FC Wil 1900 AG from June 2020 to June 2024, and holding positions such as Goalkeepercoach at Grasshopper Club Zürich from July 2016 to May 2020, as well as Head of Goalkeeping Academy at FC Luzern between July 2013 and June 2016. Educationally, Philipp holds a Master of Science in Sports with a focus on elite sports from Eidgenössische Hochschule für Sport Magglingen EHSM (2012-2014) and a Bachelor of Science in Sport in Prevention and Rehabilitation from the University of Basel (2009-2012).
