Andres Peñaloza has worked in the research and media industry since 2005. Andres began their career at YanHaas S.A. as an Associate Researcher, where they were responsible for conducting interviews, analyzing data, and developing research proposals for clients. In 2007, they moved to Universal McCann as a Research Analyst. In 2008, they joined MediaVest as a Research Analyst and then moved to Starcom MediaVest Group in 2010, where they held various roles, including Research Coordinator, Research Analyst, and Research, Audience & Measurement Solutions Director. In this role, they were responsible for using proprietary and syndicated media tools, participating in tenders and corporate matters, directing consumer analysis and market diagnostics, and generating income through research projects. In 2017, they joined Shapermint as a Sr Research Specialist.

Andres Peñaloza obtained their Psicólogo degree from Fundación Universitaria Konrad Lorenz in 2006, with a field of study in Psicología. Andres then obtained an Especialista Psicología del Consumidor degree from the same institution in 2007, with a field of study in Marketing. Additionally, Andres Peñaloza has obtained various certifications, including General English from EF Education First in 2018, Google Analytics para la toma de decisiones estratégicas from Academia MacPC in 2015, Liderazgo Para Alto Potencial from Wilson Learning Latam in 2013, Audiencia de medios from IBOPE Media in 2010, and two IMS Certifications on Twitter from IMS Internet Media Services.
