Eysteinn Elvarsson

Eysteinn Elvarsson has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Their most recent role is as the Head of Researcher for Iceland at Sports Interactive (SI) since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Sport Scientist at Heilsuleikskólinn Heiðarsel starting in September 2016. Eysteinn also has experience in coaching positions, serving as the Head Coach U-6 at Keflavík FC from May 2021 to September 2022, and as the Head Football Coach U-14 at Úþróttur Vogum from September 2018 to September 2020. Eysteinn also worked as a Coach at Fylkir from September 2015 to September 2016. Additionally, Eysteinn has been involved in project management as a Project Manager at Kennarasamband Íslands from July 2017 to July 2019. Prior to their career in sports, Eysteinn worked as a Sales Associate at Elkjop Nordic AS (Part of Dixons Carphone plc) from March 2008 to August 2013. Eysteinn also gained experience as a Gymnastic & activity teacher at ÍTR from August 2013 to May 2015.

Eysteinn Elvarsson completed a Master of Education degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching at Háskólinn á Akureyri from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Science from Reykjavik University, which they pursued from 2012 to 2015.
