Morgan Baima

Head of Fabrication at SiTration, Inc.

Morgan Baima has a diverse work experience in research and manufacturing. From 2016 to 2018, Morgan worked as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where they focused on building a chemical vapor deposition chamber for smart textile applications. Following this, from 2018 to 2020, Morgan served as the Co-founder and Scientific Lead at Soliyarn, a role that involved leading scientific endeavors. In 2021, Morgan worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Collin College, teaching in an academic capacity. Currently, Morgan holds the position of Head of Fabrication at SiTration, Inc., a company specializing in the production of filtration membranes for various applications, including recycling lithium-ion battery materials.

Morgan Baima has a strong educational background in the field of chemistry. They first attended St. Edward's University from 2006 to 2010, earning a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Chemistry and a minor in French. Following this, they pursued further studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Materials Science. Lastly, from 2016 to 2018, Morgan attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst and successfully completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Chemistry.
