Mariah Cherem

Mariah Cherem is an experienced program coordinator currently working at Skokie Public Library, where responsibilities include coordinating a wide range of public programs for diverse age groups and collaborating with community partners. Previously, Mariah worked at Ann Arbor District Library as a production librarian, leading innovative library programming and coordinating major festivals, as well as managing music collections and licensing agreements. Additional roles include teaching as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Michigan and serving as a community manager at Yelp, focusing on outreach and event coordination. With an academic background in Community Informatics and Arts Administration from the University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan University, Mariah brings a strong foundation in communication, community engagement, and program development to the field of library and information sciences.
