Fabrice Kunzi

Fabrice Kunzi is the current Chief Operating Officer at SkyGrid. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Staff Engineer and Engineering Supervisor for Product Integration and New Ventures at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems from January 2016 to March 2022.

Kunzi is known for their ability to lead the transition of new products from prototype to market. Fabrice has a knack for strategy, being able to quantify market opportunity and customer requirements while also identifying target markets and defining business models. Kunzi is also well-versed in financial modeling, due diligence, and solution architecture.

During their time at General Atomics, Kunzi was responsible for launching and growing strategically relevant businesses. Fabrice was often praised for their ability to engage across functional and departmental boundaries for engineering and business development activities.

Under Kunzi’s leadership, SkyGrid has experienced exponential growth. In just two years, the company has tripled its revenue and expanded its workforce ten-fold. Kunzi’s innovative thinking and outside-the-box approach has taken SkyGrid to new heights, making it one of the most promising startups in the country.

Fabrice Kunzi has a Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an S.M. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Dakota. Fabrice is certified by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in MIT Teaching Certificate, by the Federal Aviation Administration in Commercial Pilots License, Multi Engine and IFR Rated, and by EASA - European Union Aviation Safety Agency in European Private Pilot's License.
