Ujjwal Singh

Ujjwal Singh has extensive work experience in software engineering and cloud migration and operations. Ujjwal is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at Sophos since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Halliburton from 2018 to 2021, where they held the position of Cloud Lead, Eastern Hemisphere. In this role, they built and led a team of 25+ professionals in developing and operating Halliburton's SaaS solutions on AWS and Azure. Ujjwal also managed multiple global teams for DevOps and SRE/Operations across India, Ukraine, and Vietnam. Before joining Halliburton, Ujjwal worked at Cisco from 2011 to 2018 in various software engineering roles, contributing to product development, architecture, and performance tuning. Ujjwal also has experience in SIP telephony products and cloud technologies. Ujjwal has also worked at Avaya and Aricent Technologies Holdings Limited as a Senior Software Engineer.

Ujjwal Singh obtained a B.Tech degree in Computer Science from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur from 2002 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed their high school education specializing in Physical Sciences at Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1994 to 2002. Ujjwal has also obtained various certifications, including the Certified Kubernetes Administrator from The Linux Foundation in 2022.
