Leonie Sanders

Leonie Sanders has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Head of Finance at Source.ag, where they oversee finance operations in AI-powered indoor farms for food production. Previously, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Stichting Hulptroepen Alliantie, a non-profit consortium supporting the fight against COVID-19 by sourcing and distributing medical supplies.

Leonie also worked as a Management Consultant Digital Banking and Payments at Capgemini Invent, providing expertise in digital banking strategies. Prior to that, they held positions at Mercer, where they worked as a Financial Analyst and later as a Junior GL Accountant, responsible for GL operations and training.

Additionally, Leonie has experience as an Operational Manager at WOOV, a festival app startup, handling financial proceedings and raising seed investments. Leonie also founded Moi-ety, an online fashion brand that offers customizable business wear for women. Moreover, Leonie served as Chairman and Coordinator of External Affairs at BvvK Investments, facilitating investment committee meetings and handling external activities.

Throughout their career, Leonie has demonstrated strong financial and management skills, with a focus on strategic planning, operations, and supporting organizational goals.

Leonie Sanders has a diverse educational background. In 2009, they obtained a Diploma in Bookkeeping from the Nederlandse Associatie voor Examinering. Leonie went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Business economics / Economie en management / Economie en zakelijk beheer at Utrecht University from 2013 to 2016. Later, from 2017 to 2018, Leonie earned a Master's Degree in Strategic Entrepreneurship from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. More recently, in 2021, they attended Harvard Business School Online to further enhance their skills in Leading with Finance.
