Tonya Johnson has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Tonya began their career as a Critical Care off-shift Nurse Manager at Lancaster General Hospital in 2008, where they worked until October 2009. Tonya then joined Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System as a Nursing Clinical Director from September 2009 to July 2016. Since 2016, Tonya has been working at Southcoast Health, starting as the Associate Chief Nursing Officer from July 2016 to July 2018. Tonya then served as the Vice President of Operations from July 2018 to April 2021, followed by a role as the Vice President Operations from April 2021 to December 2021. Currently, Tonya holds the position of Senior Vice President and COO of Southcoast Hospitals Group since December 2021.
Tonya Johnson has a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree in Nursing Administration, which they obtained from Walden University from 2011 to 2015.
