Kerry Scharfglass

Director of Device Software at SPAN

Kerry Scharfglass has extensive experience in firmware engineering and software development. They currently hold the position of Director of Device Software at Span since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Lead Firmware Engineer at Span from April 2019 to November 2021. They have also worked as a Contributing Writer at Hackaday since March 2018. In addition, Kerry has held positions at Mindtribe Product Engineering as a Senior Firmware Engineer from June 2018 to April 2019, and as a Firmware Engineer from March 2015 to June 2018. Furthermore, they have worked at Amazon Lab126 as a Software Development Engineer from January 2013 to March 2015, and as a Software Development Engineer Intern from June 2012 to September 2012. Kerry also gained experience at Tesla Motors as an Intern - Design Validation and Test, where they maintained software frameworks and developed tools for embedded systems from June 2010 to September 2011. Lastly, they worked as an Intern at NASA Ames Research Center in 2009.
