Christopher Owen

Christopher Owen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Christopher began their career as an Aircraft Powertrain Repairer in the United States Army, where they developed various professional and technical skills and progressed to a leadership role. After leaving the Army, they worked as an Animal Control Officer, significantly reducing the euthanasia rate in a government-run shelter. Christopher then gained experience as a Sales Associate at CarMax, assisting customers with vehicle purchases and offering additional products. Owen also worked as a Machine Operator at Accurus Aerospace Corporation, producing aircraft components, and as a Service Technician at Röhm Products of America, Inc., providing repair evaluations and customer support. Christopher pursued their interest in machining as a Student at Lanier Technical College, graduating with a strong skillset in precision measurement and machine operation. Owen also had a brief stint as an A&P Aircraft Mechanic at ROMANAIR WDR, INC. and transitioned into the role of Detail Inspector at StandardAero, where they performed NDT inspections and assisted the team wherever necessary. Currently, they are serving as the Chief Operator Verifier at Sperry Rail Inc.

Christopher Owen obtained their Associate's degree in Machine Tool Technology/Machinist from Lanier Technical College, where they studied from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, in May 2017, they obtained the Airframe & Powerplant Certification from the FAA.
