Ray Henger

Ray has spent his 25 year career in the energy industry. As the Chief Development Officer he oversees a number of teams including development, permitting, real estate, origination and long term strategy. sPower’s development pipeline is in excess of 16 gigawatts of wind, storage and solar generation positions. Ray joined sPower from wind developer OwnEnergy, where he spent six years as the CFO during a time of rapid growth culminating in the sale of OwnEnergy to EDF in 2015. Prior to OwnEnergy, Ray was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse in investment banking with clients in the IPP, utility and renewable generation sectors. Ray’s 14-year banking career included positions with Wasserstein Perella, Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ) and Credit Suisse.

Ray holds a BA in Finance from Southern Methodist University.
