Sophie Smallwood

Sophie Smallwood's work experience includes various roles in customer success, growth, and marketing. Sophie is currently working as the Head of Customer Success at Spryker. Prior to that, they co-founded Roleshare and served as the Director of Growth and Customer Success, leading the development and launch of a job sharing platform. Sophie also participated in Techstars' Workforce Development Accelerator program as a founder participant.

Before Roleshare, Sophie worked at Meta as a Strategic Customer Success EMEA for Workplace from Meta, where they achieved high adoption rates and revenue growth. Sophie also worked at eBay as the Head of Customer Success EMEA - Magento, overseeing account management and driving customer satisfaction. Sophie started their career as a Real Estate Broker at the California Department of Real Estate.

Sophie also has experience in marketing, having worked as a Marketing Manager at TripAdvisor and as an Account Executive in lifestyle and event marketing at George P Johnson. Sophie began their career at The Phelps Group as a Team Coordinator and later became a Team Manager, managing marketing projects for key accounts.

Sophie Smallwood obtained a Fellowship at eLab from Columbia University starting in 2022. Sophie previously earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with Summa Cum Laude honors in Communications with an Advertising Emphasis from San Diego State University, where they were recognized as an Outstanding Advertising Graduate, completing their studies between 1998 and 2002. Sophie also holds a high school diploma from Palos Verdes Peninsula High School, which they earned between 1994 and 1998. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications including Digital Visionary from Workplace by Facebook (2016-2018), a Real Estate Broker's License from the California Department of Real Estate (2009), and completed a program at the NY Institute of Photography (2008).
