G. Michael Youngblood

G. Michael Youngblood has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. G. Michael is currently working as a Principal Computer Scientist at SRI International. Prior to that, they founded and served as the CEO of Youngblood LLC, a company specializing in computer science and AI research and development consulting and services, as well as multi-media art.

Before their entrepreneurial venture, Youngblood held various roles at PARC, a Xerox Company, including Distinguished Principal Engineer/Scientist, Principal Engineer/Scientist, and Senior AI Systems Architect and Researcher. G. Michael was responsible for research and development project leadership, remote working solutions, and bridging the gap between research and development.

Youngblood also has a strong academic background, having worked as a Professor of Computer Science at UNC Charlotte. During their tenure, they specialized in interactive AI and game development, conducted research projects, published numerous papers, and received external funding for their research. G. G. Michael Youngblood has an extensive education history. G. Michael started by earning an Associate's Degree in Applied Science and Technology, with a focus on Nuclear Engineering, from Thomas Edison State University between 1988 and 1995. During this time, they also completed additional training at D1G Prototype Mechanical Operator, specializing in Nuclear Chemistry, Pure Water Chemistry, and Nuclear Mechanical Power Plant Operations and Maintenance.

In 1989, G. Michael Youngblood attended Naval Nuclear Power School, where they studied General Reactor Plant Operations, Theory, and Systems, specializing in Mechanical and Materials. G. Michael also completed Nuclear Field 'A' School, focusing on Mechanical Engineering Maintenance Basics, in 1988 to further enhance their skills in the field.

Continuing their educational journey, G. Michael Youngblood pursued their academic degrees in Computer Science and Engineering at The University of Texas at Arlington. G. Michael earned their Honors BS degree between 1996 and 1999, followed by an MS degree from 1999 to 2002. Finally, they successfully completed their PhD in Computer Science and Engineering at the same university from 2002 to 2005.
