Jess Balint

Jess Balint has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple roles and companies. They began their career as an Analyst at Alliance Data Systems in 2002 and later worked as a Programmer at Innovis Data Solutions/CBC Companies in 2004. In the same year, they also became the Owner of Improved Ideas until 2006. Starting from 2006, Jess worked as a Programmer at MySQL Inc. until 2009. Following that, they joined Oracle as a Java Specialist Principal Software Developer in 2013 and held this role until 2016. In 2016, Jess joined Stardog Union as a Senior Software Engineer. They also became an Apache Calcite Committer at The Apache Software Foundation starting from 2017.
