Jp Paredes

JP Paredes has a diverse and extensive work experience. JP is currently serving as the VP Operations Latin America at Sterling. Prior to this, they worked as the Managing Director Global Operations at Socrates Ltd from February 2018 to January 2023. JP also held the position of Postgraduate and Magister Invited Professor at Universidad de San Buenaventura from February 2015 to January 2023. JP Paredes has also been actively involved in the City of Cali, Colombia, where they served as the Security Counsellor to the Mayor and later as the Secretary of Security and Justice. JP has held various managerial positions in well-known companies such as Socrates Ltd, Cisco Systems, Kraft Foods Group, Pfizer, and Schlumberger. JP Paredes began their professional career in the Colombian Army, serving in the Presidential Guard Battalion.

JP Paredes has a diverse education history with a focus on security management and engineering. In 2007-2008, they attended Georgetown University and obtained a degree in Executive Security Management & Leadership. JP then pursued a Security Management Specialist program at Universidad Militar Nueva Granada and U. de San Buenaventura from 2003-2004. Prior to this, they completed their secondary education at Berchmans School. In 1995-2000, Paredes attended Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and earned a degree in Industrial Engineering.
