Lincoln Romero

Lincoln Romero has a diverse and extensive work experience. Lincoln is currently the President LATAM - Food & Beverage - Taste Nutrition & Health at Symrise AG, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the President LATAM - Flavor & Nutrition at Symrise AG from January 2017 to December 2021. In this role, they were responsible for providing long-term vision and strategic direction for the Flavor & Nutrition division in Latin America. From July 2015 to December 2016, Lincoln was the Vice President of Sales - Flavor Division LATAM at Symrise AG, where they were responsible for developing regional strategic plans and managing key accounts in the LATAM region.

Outside of Symrise AG, Lincoln also held leadership positions in other companies. Lincoln served as the President of the Board of Directors at ABIFRA - Brazilian Fragrances and Flavors Industry Association from January 2021 onwards. Before joining Symrise AG, Lincoln was the Business Director Latin America at FMC Health and Nutrition from May 2013 to June 2015.

Prior to their roles in the flavor and nutrition industry, Lincoln had experience in managing and leading start-up companies. Lincoln served as the Managing Director at SuperBAC Biotechnology Solutions from March 2010 to August 2012. In this role, they had full responsibility for the company's P&L, business development, and results. Lincoln also held various roles at Croda, including Managing Director Brazil and Sales & Marketing Director Brazil.

Early in their career, Lincoln worked as a Chemist at Dow and Rhodia. Lincoln holds extensive experience in the chemical industry with a focus on the flavor and nutrition sector.

Lincoln Romero has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of São Paulo, which they obtained from 1984 to 1988. Lincoln also completed an MBA in Finance & Marketing at the Fundação Getulio Vargas from 1991 to 1993. In addition, they attended the Instituto Brasileiro de Governança Corporativa in 2015, where they received the title of Board of Directors Advisor in Corporate Governance.
