Laurens Kleijn

Laurens Kleijn's work experience includes serving as the Director, Head of Research Chemistry and Process Chemistry at Tagworks Pharmaceuticals since February 2023. Laurens also held the position of Senior Scientist at the same company from February 2019 until February 2023. Prior to joining Tagworks Pharmaceuticals, Laurens co-founded Karveel Pharmaceuticals in August 2015 and served as the company's CSO until November 2018. Laurens also worked as a PhD Researcher at Medicinal Chemistry & Chemical Biology, Utrecht University from November 2013 to December 2017.

Laurens Kleijn pursued their Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Utrecht University, which they completed between 2008 and 2011. Laurens then furthered their education at the same university, obtaining a Master's degree in Drug Innovation from 2011 to 2013.
