Chandler Hawsey

Process Engineer at TemperPack

Chandler Hawsey began their career in 2012 as a Head Lifeguard at Murraywood Swim & Racquet Club. In 2017, they became a Research Assistant at the University of South Carolina. In 2018, they took on the role of Student Laboratory Assistant at Clemson University, where they gained experience in a laboratory environment by preparing samples for testing and learning about techniques for good laboratory practices. In 2019, they worked as an Engineer at the Savannah River National Laboratory, mainly focusing on mechanical and thermal property testing, powder characterization, and spectroscopy. Chandler co-authored a report on mechanical property testing of bromobutyl rubbers for use as liners in waste containers, which was presented at the Waste Management Symposium in March 2021. Chandler Hawsey is currently employed as a Process Engineer at TemperPack, a position they have held since 2022.

Chandler Hawsey obtained a Diploma from Irmo High School in 2015 after studying Engineering and Science from 2011 to 2015. Chandler then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering from Clemson University from 2015 to 2019. In April 2017, they obtained a Certified Solidworks Associate from a SolidWorks Authorized Training Centre.
