Grant Pellowe

Grant Pellowe is a Postdoctoral Researcher at The Francis Crick Institute since January 2021, specializing in protein biogenesis and cotranslational folding studies. Previously, Grant served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Doctoral Research Student at King's College London, focusing on single molecule and co-translational studies of membrane protein folding in the lab of Prof. Paula Booth from August 2016 to December 2020. Prior experience includes restaurant and bar work at The Driftwood Spars and an undergraduate research project at the University of Bristol, where Grant studied DnaJB1 as an interacterome partner of thrombospondin-1 under Prof. Jo Adams. Grant's academic background includes a PhD in Chemistry from King's College London and a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Bristol.
