Tim Newbegin

Tim Newbegin has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Tim most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at Thomas International since September 2018. Prior to that, they were the Group Chief Financial Officer at SGG Group from May 2016 to July 2018. Tim has also held CFO positions at Masternaut from August 2014 to September 2015 and at Actix Ltd from February 2013 to July 2014. Tim's earlier career includes roles such as Group Financial Director at Link Financial from July 2008 to January 2013, and Group FC, UK & International Director at Actix Ltd from July 2005 to June 2008. Tim started their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Assistant Director in 1993. Throughout their career, Tim has gained experience in various aspects of finance, including tax, treasury, HR, legal, and corporate accounting. Tim has also been involved in strategic planning, budgeting, reporting, and implementing finance systems.

Tim Newbegin completed their education at the University of Exeter from 1990 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematical Statistics. Prior to that, they attended Eton College from 1984 to 1989. Tim also holds a certification from ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) as an ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant), but the specific date of completion is unknown.
