Chantal Brooks

Chantal Brooks has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Chantal currently works as the Talent and Performance Manager: Centre of Excellence Lead at Tiger Brands since March 2022. Prior to this, they founded and served as the Managing Director of YouByDesign Coaching since March 2021. Chantal also worked at Beyond Transform as a Senior Talent Professional from July 2021 to February 2022.

Before their current roles, Chantal held various positions at Nestlé from November 2015 to December 2019, including Head of Talent and Acquisitions. During their time at Nestlé, they successfully implemented several initiatives such as improving the recruitment process through the introduction of gamification and qualitative measures, re-engineering talent management processes, and enhancing employer branding initiatives. Chantal also played a key role in driving diversity and inclusion strategies within the organization.

Prior to Nestlé, Chantal worked as the Head of Operation Human Resources Manager at Dawn HR Solutions from June 2013 to October 2015. Chantal also held different HR positions at Kraft Foods Group from 2007 to 2013, including Manager of Human Resources Operations and Manager Organizational Development.

Chantal's earlier career includes roles at arivia.kom, Nedcor, and Nedbank, where they gained experience in HR consulting and information systems.

Chantal Brooks has a BA Industrial Psychology Honours Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Johannesburg, completed in 1996. Chantal also completed their Matric at East Rand Secondary in 1991. Chantal obtained a Diploma in Labour Law from The Graduate Institute of Management and Technology in 2003. In 2010, they received a Diploma in Organisational Development from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. Chantal has a certificate in Employer Branding from UNI-Universum International College in 2016 and a certificate in Business Coaching from GIBS Business School (Gordon Institute of Business Science) in 2019. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained additional certifications in Strategic Thinking, Overcoming Imposter Syndrome, Succeeding in a New Job, and Succession Planning from LinkedIn in 2020. Chantal also has various non-degree courses from Erica Jones International, Kraft Academy, Deloitte, and Deloitte, focusing on project management, managing people, skills facilitation, and targeted selection.
