Jof Arnold

Jof Arnold has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Jof started their career as a Motorsport Contractor in 2002 and later worked as a Lead Engineer at Delphi, where they led a team in developing innovative technologies for high-pressure diesel fuel pumps. In 2007, they co-founded i-together, a company that created the Blog Friends social news app.

From 2010 to 2012, Jof was a co-founder and co-designer of FitFu.com, an iOS fitness app and social network that gained recognition for its design. Jof then co-founded Timecounts Inc in 2013 and played a crucial role in developing the frontend of a large-scale ReactJS application using various technologies.

Jof's experience includes freelance work as a Senior Frontend Developer at BrainBakery, where they specialized in developing sophisticated web, iOS, and Android applications. Jof also worked as a Course Developer and Co-founder at GraphQL Training, providing training courses for GraphQL and related technologies.

In 2018, Jof joined Big Health as a Lead Software Engineer, leading projects and contributing to the development of mental health solutions. More recently, they have been working as a Freelance Software Engineer and Consultant, focusing on web technologies such as React, React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, and GraphQL.

Jof's current role is as a Software Engineering Manager at Tipalti, where they oversee software engineering projects and leads a team of professionals. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated their expertise in problem-solving, mentoring, training, and accelerating software teams in regulated industries.

Jof Arnold pursued their education in various fields, exhibiting a diverse academic background. In the year 1998, they enrolled at Imperial College London and completed their studies in 2002. During this time, Jof obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a particular focus on Engineering, Entrepreneurship, and Design. Following this, in 2011, they attended Y Combinator, where they undertook a program in Startups, allowing him to expand their knowledge in the field of Business.
