Jeff Szmyd

Jeff Szmyd has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Jeff is currently serving as the Director of Flight Software at True Anomaly since December 2022. Prio to this, they held various roles at ASI by Rocket Lab, including Software Fellow, Director of Software Engineering, and Flight Software Engineering Manager, from 2008 to 2022. Before joining ASI, Jeff worked as a Firmware Engineer at Quantum from 2001 to 2008. Jeff also had a brief stint as a Software Engineer at SRC Computers in 2000. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at SEAKR Engineering from 1996 to 2000, and at Gambro Renal Products from 1995 to 1996. Jeff's career started at Lockheed Martin as a Robotics Engineer from 1990 to 1995.
