Amy Vissers CEBS, SPHR

Amy Vissers CEBS, SPHR has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources. Amy began their career in 1990 as a Claims Analyst for Humana (Formerly Employers Health Insurance). In 1991, they moved to Claim Management Services as a Contract Analyst. In 1995, they joined Ameritruck Distribution Corporation as a Benefits Manager. From 1998 to 2002, they worked for McCain Foods (Formerly Anchor Food Products) as a Benefits and Compensation Manager and Human Resource Manager. From 2002 to 2007, they were the Director of Human Resources at Fox River Paper Company LLC, where they were responsible for developing HR strategy in alignment with organizational goals and objectives. From 2007 to 2016, they worked for Appvion, Inc. as Manager of Human Resources Services, where they developed and implemented strategies for benefits, wellness, compensation, HRIS, and performance management. Currently, they are the Director of Total Rewards at U.S. Venture, Inc., where they are responsible for all compensation and benefits programming, including short and long term incentives, executive compensation, commission plans, benefit plan decisions, compliance with healthcare reform, wellness and total rewards, as well as payroll and Workday HCM system.

Amy Vissers holds a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Amy also holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI, obtained in May 2000. Additionally, they have a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) from the Wharton School of Business and a Compensation Management Specialist (CMS) from IFEBP.
