Velma B.

Velma B. has worked in the development and events field since 2010. Velma began their career as a Special Events Manager / Development Associate at Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles. In 2015, they moved to Orthopaedic Institute for Children (OIC) as an Associate Director of Development and Events. Velma then joined the American Cancer Society in 2017 as an Associate Director, Development - West Region. In 2021, they took on the role of Director, Donor Development at March of Dimes. Most recently, they have been working as a Regional Grant and Community Engagement Manager- West at U.S. Venture, Inc. since 2022.

Velma B. holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Journalism: Public Relations, with a Minor in Marketing, from California State University, Long Beach. Velma also completed Core Event Management Classes from George Washington University - Extension.
