Khandan Baradaran

Khandan Baradaran has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a strong focus on regulatory affairs, quality assurance, and product quality. They have held various leadership roles in companies such as Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc., where they currently serve as the VP Regulatory CMC. Prior to Ultragenyx, they were the VP and Head of Quality at Dimension Therapeutics. They also held positions as the Director of Regulatory CMC at Shire HGT, Associate Director of Regulatory CMC at Biogen Idec, and Head of Government Contracts, Regulatory CMC, and Compliance at Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics. Khandan Baradaran also founded the Malaria Open Forum and has served on the Board of Directors at Addgene. Their work experience spans over two decades in the industry, showcasing their expertise and leadership in regulatory and quality fields.

Khandan Baradaran holds a Ph.D. in Virology from Harvard University, which was obtained between 1987 and 1995. Prior to that, Baradaran completed a B.A. in Molecular Biology at Wellesley College from 1981 to 1985.
