Carolyn Wang

Carolyn Wang has a diverse work experience in the field of corporate communications and marketing. Carolyn is currently working as the SVP of Global Corporate Communications at Ultragenyx since May 2021. Carolyn also serves as a Board Member at the John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health since March 2022. Previously, they held the position of Head of Communications at Verily Life Sciences from July 2016 to April 2021. Before that, they were the President of BrewLife Agency, a W2O Company, where they led a team of 25 people and focused on integrated marketing communications and strategic positioning for emerging brands in the healthcare and life sciences industries. Carolyn also has experience at WCG, a W2O Company, where they served as Managing Director and Director/Group Director, playing a crucial role in the firm's substantial growth. Carolyn started their career as a Senior Account Executive at Ogilvy Public Relations and also spent some time in quality assurance at Elan Pharmaceuticals.

Carolyn Wang attended Elon University from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, with a focus on General Biology.
