John Toye has worked for both Unified Industries Incorporated and the US Navy. John Toye has a long and varied educational history. John began their educational pursuits in 1977, studying Maritime Engineering Operations and Maintenance at various military and civilian training institutions. In 1987, they began professional development training and continued to do so until 2014. In 1995, they began studying Computerized Maintenance Management Systems and Enterprise Asset Management Systems at Maintenance Management Systems. In 2015 and 2016, they attended the Center for Development of Security Excellence (CSSE) and obtained a Certification in Facility Security Officer (FSO). Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Facility Security Officer from the Defense Security Service in 2014, Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Level 1 Certification from Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in 2012, Customer Service Professional Certified from Service Strategies in 1999, Dr. Steven Covey's "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People" Facilitator from FranklinCovey in 1996, Secret Security Clearance from the Defense Security Service in 1990, Engineering Propulsion Plant Underway Watch Officer from the US Navy in 1990, and US Navy Master Training Specialist (MTS) from the US Navy in 1988.
