Jacqui Zalcberg

Human Rights Officer at United Nations Human Rights

Jacqui Zalcberg is an experienced Human Rights Officer with extensive expertise in international law and human rights advocacy. Currently serving at the United Nations Human Rights since September 2019, Zalcberg provides legal advice to various UN Special Rapporteurs and has led significant initiatives, such as the publication of 'The Berkeley Protocol on Digital Open Source Investigations.' Previous roles include lead investigator on Rakhine State, legal adviser to multiple Special Rapporteurs, and co-founding Germany's first international human rights law and gender clinic at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Zalcberg's educational background includes an LL.M. in International Law from Columbia Law School and a BA/LL.B with Honours from Monash University.
