Dilip Kumar Thakur has a diverse work experience in the field of data science. Dilip Kumar started their career at Cognizant as a Programmer Analyst Trainee, where they gained proficiency in various data analytics techniques and tools. Dilip Kumar then worked as an Analyst-Data Science, where they had exposure to domains such as Life Science, Healthcare, and Telecom.

After that, Dilip joined HCL Technologies as a Lead Engineer in Data Science. Dilip Kumar worked on data analysis and advanced techniques during their tenure. Dilip Kumar then moved on to Algo8.ai as a Data Scientist Level II, where they focused on the complete ETL cycle of data and predictive modeling strategies.

Dilip later joined Deloitte as a Senior Consultant (Deputy Manager)-Data Science. In this role, they designed a real-time commodity price forecasting platform for a tire and steel manufacturer, resulting in significant cost savings. Dilip Kumar also led a team of data scientists, consultants, and analysts and provided training to interns and fresh hires.

Currently, Dilip is working at Vesta as a Data Scientist and has been promoted to the role of Data Science Manager starting from June 2023. In this position, they are responsible for creating features and models associated with payment fraud, utilizing data science capabilities to help customers minimize fraud transactions and maximize revenues.

Throughout their career, Dilip has demonstrated expertise in quantitative approaches, statistical modeling, and machine learning. Dilip Kumar has a strong track record of delivering successful projects and leading teams.

Dilip Kumar Thakur began their education in 2005 at DON BOSCO HR. SEC. SCHOOL, where they completed their 10th grade. Dilip Kumar then attended FLORA DALE SR. SEC SCHOOL, completing their 12th grade in the year 2007.

In 2008, Dilip enrolled at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Dilip Kumar graduated from this university in 2012.

Recently, in 2021, Dilip entered UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School to pursue a Master of Science degree in Business Analytics, which they are expected to complete in 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Dilip has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills. In 2016, they completed the Big Data Hadoop Foundations certification from IBM. More recently, in 2021, they completed the Tableau Essential Training (2020.1) course from LinkedIn and also received training in cloud computing and cloud storage through LinkedIn.

In 2022, Dilip obtained the CFA Investment Foundation certification from the CFA Institute and completed the Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) course provided by Bloomberg.
