Tim Hawkes

Tim Hawkes is Senior Vice President of Engineering at Vestmark, responsible for all software engineering, including development, quality assurance, testing automation and architecture. Tim oversees the team responsible for developing the company's award-winning platforms, and partners with Vestmark’s Products and Strategy Teams to ensure seamless and rapid execution of the product roadmap.

Prior to joining Vestmark, Tim was Head of Engineering, Investment Management at SS&C Technologies Holdings, the world’s largest hedge fund and private equity administrator, as well as the largest mutual fund transfer agency. While at SS&C, Tim was responsible for the design and development of the entire suite of Investment Management applications, partnering on an ongoing basis with the Product Development, Sales, InfoSec and DevOps teams. Prior to that, he served as Head of Application and Data Management at American Student Assistance, responsible for all data and applications. Previously, he was a Vice President, Global Markets Technology and Portfolio Solutions at State Street Global Markets, where he was responsible for the State Street Global Commission Management product line. Other experiences include a variety of engineering work at Wellington Management, Putnam Investments and Thompson Financial.

Tim earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Bryant College and holds a variety of technical certifications.
