Jeff Versterre

Jeff Versterre has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles in the chemicals industry. Jeff is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Victrex since June 2021. In May 2022, they also became the Chair of the Board at Panjin VYX High Performance Materials Co., Ltd.

Prior to their current roles, Versterre worked at DCL Corporation as the Chief Operating Officer from September 2018 to May 2021. Jeff was responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of the company.

Before that, Versterre had a long tenure at AkzoNobel, where they held multiple positions. From July 2015 to August 2018, they served as the Director of Operations - Americas region. Jeff was also the Director of Continuous Improvement from January 2015 to July 2015 and the Director HSE and Regulatory Affairs for Industrial Chemicals & AkzoNobel Nederland from July 2012 to January 2015.

Earlier in their career, Versterre worked at Cabot Norit Activated Carbon as the Director of Operations from 2008 to 2012, and at Tronox as the Plant Manager on Botlek site from 2003 to 2008. Jeff also held the role of Deputy Director Continuous Improvement at Pechiney/Alcan from 2001 to 2003.

Versterre's career began with an internship as a Research Assistant at BHP Minerals in 1996. Jeff worked as a Process Technologist, Plant Engineer, and Production Leader at Tronox from 1997 to 2001.

Jeff Versterre attended RSG Noord Kennermerland from 1987 to 1993, where they obtained a VWO diploma. Following this, they pursued a Mining Engineering degree with a specialization in Extractive Metallurgy at Delft University of Technology from 1993 to 1997. Jeff Versterre holds a Master of Science degree in Mining Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
